Camping Season – revisit

Camping - cooking over a hunters fire.

We posted this in February when the online camping season site opened but wanted to remind everyone about it now that camping is in our thoughts!

Yes I know – it’s hard to think of camping with the snow and cold temps we’ve been having but Alberta Parks campground reservation systems opens on the 22nd (Tuesday) and so if you’re thinking of heading out for the May long weekend to start up the camping season you’ll want to check this site.

I used this site last year to book all of our sites.  It’s great since it can be done online (with the kids screaming in the background) and you can pick your site.  You can view the sites, sizes and even get a 360 degree view of what it looks like.  It will also let you know what sites are already booked.  So if you are already getting excited about this year’s camping season (like I am!) then be sure to log on to this site.

Danielle is mom to a 4 year old daughter and 2 year old son and always looking for fun things to do with the kids.  She blogs over at fourdayshome.
