Looking for something to do with your kids when they’re out for Spring Break? Here are 7 ideas that your kid will love. Have little kids too? Don’t worry each location has things that are great for preschoolers as well.
The Calgary Zoo is a surprisingly nice place to go in the winter. It’s way less crowded and there’s still a lot to see. It also has quite of lot of indoor exhibits so you don’t have to stay out in the cold the whole time. This is a great place for kids of all ages and adults alike.
Cardel Place is home to one of the best pools in the city. It’s bright with high ceilings, a great toddler pool with spray features, a big shallow end with water park features, a lazy river and a hot tub. You can also access the gyms and climbing wall for the same price of admission.
Although the parking is not cheap, the airport has a lot to offer for kids. The biggest draw is of course the airplanes which you can even see right out the large windows at the 2nd floor play area (great for school aged kids). The Spaceport provides a lot of interesting material for older kids (and adults) interested in NASA space programs.
Stir crazy offers a large indoor play gym complete with slides and tunnels. It’s very grown-up friendly – you could go through much of it standing. They also have a room with quiet play toys and bouncy castles.
5. Tommy K Play
Tommy K Play has a huge climbing structure with slides, tunnels and bumpers that is accessible to adults but you will be doing a lot of crawling if you decide to go up. They also have a laser maze, roller race track and interactive gaming tower.
Let’s Play has a huge 4 level indoor playground structure with climbers, ball pits, tunnel slides, a huge roller slide. This climber is accessible to adults. They also have a games area with redemption games that take tokens including air hockey, wack-a mole, cyclone.
Shakers is aimed at kids right through to adults. During the coolers months it has lazer tag a climbing wall and tons of redemption games. It has a multi-level indoor playground for the little ones as well.
