November saw us say goodbye to fall and get ready for winter!

Attractions for kids
We learned about coyotes from a great new University of Calgary web site and then headed to a mall to experience wildlife. We headed out to learn at the Telus Science Centre with youngsters. We remembered those who fought for us.
We stopped in for story time at the Signal Hill Indigo store. We took the kids to a couple play places, Tommy K play in the SE and Stir Crazy Family Fun Centre in the NE. We took a educational late fall walk in the city and a visit to the Zoo.
Out of town
We headed out of town to the annual Millarville Christmas market.
Crafts & Fun
Kids in the Capital shared posts where homemade lemonade was mixed up and we stayed in touch with skype. We learned how to make a beautiful family photo book and a cute teacher gift idea. We learned how to add our kid’s art to holiday cards. We learned how to bring some garden fun indoors for the winter and bake some ornaments. We shared an idea for a winter birthday celebration. This month Kids in the Capital shared a post about decorating kid’s bedrooms. We learned tips for meal planning to include home made meals during the days. We also got some tips for planning and organizing for the holidays as well as holiday traditions.
Christmas season means that we’re starting to head out to the malls and get some shopping done. We learned how to survive this busy time!
