Preschooler Easter Craft

I found this craft from a book we took out at the library last week.  I started making it myself and then my 4 year old joined in.  She loves to cut with scissors so she enjoyed cutting out shapes on her own.  She also loves imagining so she had a blast playing with the felt storyboard later.  My son, who’s 2, not so much.

All we used for this craft was a pack of felt sheets from Michaels and a pair of scissors.  We made up our own shapes and then made sure to cut out small easter eggs so that we could hide them on the board later.

We just used them on the table but you could easily put the felt up on a wall for the kids to play with the pieces.  My daughter loved making up stories and it kept her busy for many hours later.

Danielle is mom to a 4 year old daughter and 2 year old son and always looking for fun things to do with the kids.  She blogs over at fourdayshome.
